IoT Project of the Year competition is held by Gurtam (Wialon, flespi, GPS-Trace brands) for the third time in 2022. It recognizes the companies which telematics and IoT projects made the greatest impact. Companies from around the globe are welcome to join the competition and present their project(s) for professional evaluation and global recognition. In the previous years the competition was spotlighted in Forbes, Business Insider, and other top media.

Who can apply
Any company with a successfully implemented and deployed telematics or IoT project can apply.
Participation in the competition is free.
Project requirements
The project was implemented in 2021/2022.
The project information submitted by the participating company is confirmed in writing by the end-user.
The project has been successfully completed or passed the main implementation stage by now.

The competition will be held in 17 nominations:

Ready-mix concrete

Community choice
Every nomination will have one winner. The number of projects per company is not limited if they belong to different nominations.
When you’re submitting the project, you don’t have to specify the nomination. Nominations are assigned by the jury.
Determining the winners
The jury (including independent industry experts as well as Wialon team experts) will assess the projects by a wide range of criteria.
The only exception is the Community choice nomination. Its winner will be determined through voting among the members of the partner community.
Competition timeline
Project submission: May 24 – July 26, 2022
Projects evaluation and publication: May 24 – September 19, 2022
Community choice voting: September 19-25, 2022
Award ceremony: October 9, 2021
The award ceremony will be held during the Telematics Dubai conference one day before GITEX 2022 – and anyone will be able to join it via an online stream.
