IoT Project of the Year competition is held by Gurtam (Wialon, flespi, GPS-Trace brands) for the third time in 2022. It recognizes the companies which telematics and IoT projects made the greatest impact. Companies from around the globe are welcome to join the competition and present their project(s) for professional evaluation and global recognition. In the previous years the competition was spotlighted in Forbes, Business Insider, and other top media.
Check the requirements below and don’t hesitate to try!
Who can apply
Any company with a successfully implemented and deployed telematics or IoT project can apply.
Participation in the competition is free.
The project was implemented in 2021/2022.
The project information submitted by the participating company is confirmed in writing by the end-user.
The project has been successfully completed or passed the main implementation stage by now.
The competition will be held in 17 nominations:
Cold chain transportation
Fuel transportation and storage

Every nomination will have one winner. The number of projects per company is not limited if they belong to different nominations.
When you’re submitting the project, you don’t have to specify the nomination. Nominations are assigned by the jury.
Determining the winners
The jury (including independent industry experts as well as Wialon team experts) will assess the projects by a wide range of criteria.
The only exception is the Community choice nomination. Its winner will be determined through voting among the members of the partner community.
