As I am sure you are aware, recent geopolitical developments pushed prices up across all sectors of the economy globally. The inflationary pressures of 2022 are unprecedented. Costs of everything from fuel to food to electricity to medical services are steeply up. The technology sector is no exception — data center costs, and human resources costs are all rising.
As our own costs are increasing, it's critical for us to be able to continue actively investing in flespi's future. We need to innovate and stay on the cutting edge of technology so that you never have to worry about your flespi back-end becoming obsolete or outdated. Many of you have come to expect high-quality technical support and rapid response times from us. We cannot sustain it without continuous investment.
Taking the above factors into consideration we made a difficult decision to increase our prices by 30% on average across our customer base. We are also introducing a Pro commercial plan to help bridge a large gap between Start and Enterprise plans.
What changes?
The Start plan will cost €130 instead of €100.
The price of some extra items changes as shown in the table:

All other price list positions remain unchanged.
We also introduce a price for 1 hour of custom engineering works (€150) that will allow us to evaluate our on-request development with greater granularity and have a price tag that more closely reflects the negotiated scope of works.
A lot of our customers approaching the limits of the Start plan expressed their concerns about a significant price increase associated with switching to the Enterprise plan. We do agree that such an increase can feel dramatic, so we are introducing a new Pro commercial plan for € 400 that will sit between Start and Enterprise. Now the limits and the respective bills will grow more gradually and make the upgrade process smoother.
Some restrictions for the Start plan have changed to accommodate the new Pro plan between Start and Enterprise:

When will the changes take effect?
The new pricing model has been published on our website on October 4 and already applies to new customers.
We will apply the new billing to our existing customers starting November 1, so the invoices issued on December 1, 2022 (covering November) will already incorporate the recent changes.
Important! All customers whose flespi usage exceeds any of the restrictions of the Start plan will automatically be switched to the Pro plan and will be notified about that in advance.
