Expert opinion

We asked Vladimir Tihonchuk, a hardware specialist in Gurtam, to share his experience with the Atrack devices and where this hardware gained exceptional popularity:

ATrack is a legendary hardware manufacturer, so to say. We did the first integration for Wialon back in 2010. And you know what, since then their communication protocol has never changed but has been constantly complemented. This signifies that ATrack has really wise engineers who managed to devise a structure of the protocol for decades. I respect these guys for great circuitry, precise PCB and casing production. These are ultra-reliable devices with very convenient and flexible configuration tool.

I recommend Atrack trackers when partners ask for dependable equipment (and not the cheapest one as is often the case). Interesting fact: the first OBD tracker that got into my hands many years ago was ATrack  AX5. We have good lasting relationships with ATrack — they have responsive technical support and clear documentation. They brought us many partners and I always put them on a shortlist of recommended manufacturers. Probably, this is not the most affordable GPS hardware on the market, but definitely highly reliable.

Summary

Atrack is about high-quality GPS trackers for different applications. The brand lives up to the industry standards and sometimes exceeds them by producing some unique offerings. So whether you are looking for reliable tracker for your next fleet management or asset management project, take a look at the Atrack devices.
